Yet another recipe with asparagus and mushrooms… apparently we eat a lot of them.
No cheese this time, you don’t see that very often here.
You need:
1/2 pack pierogi
(from asian market or make your own)
1 bunch asparagus
6 champignon mushrooms
light soy sauce
pink salt & black pepper
2 tbs olive oil
Cut the veggies like so and saute them for 2-3 minutes in olive oil.
Add the pierogi, salt and pepper and cover with a lid.
Let cook for 5 minutes.
Remove lid and stir.
Add about 2 – 3 tbs of soy sauce.
(I really like the flavour so I usually use more than 3 tbs, adjust to your own taste.)
Let cook until pierogi soft (around 5 more minutes).
And that’s how you get to spend only 15 minutes cooking and 30 minutes cleaning the kitchen. 🙂
ENJOY!
Pierogies are Polish/central European. Why would we look for them in an Asian market?
