Back to bread!
To be honest I didn’t pay much attention to measurements this time, but you can hardly go wrong when you make bread, all you have to do it’s add flour until the dough is thick enough.
You need:
1 tbs dry yeast
1 tbs sugar
1/3 tbs pink salt (adjust to own taste)
1 cup kalamata olives
2 tbs olive oil
2 cups warm water
about 5 cups white flour
Warm water+dry yeast+oliv eoil+pink salt+sugar and mix together with a whisk.
Start adding the flour little by little and work your way to a thicker consistency.
Remove the whisk from dough and start working it with your own hands until smooth.
Last add the kamalata olives (cut into smaller pieces) to the dough.
OR…USE A BREAD MACHINE!
Santa?!
Let it rest for 1 hour or until the dough doubles its volume.
Cover a large pan with parchment paper.
Put the dough over the paper and gently roll it up and down to give it a “ciabatta” shape.
Bake it for 1 hour at 380 F or until golden.
More olive oil and olives ’cause when you really like something you can never get enough of it!
ENJOY!
