Baked Fish with Capers and Lemon * Pește la Cuptor cu Capere și Lămâie

 

I only wish I could remember what was this fish called…but I don’t.

Clues: white meat, kinda fatty and apparently perfect for ceviche.

If you don’t eat raw fish, cook it. 😀

INGREDIENTS FOR 2 SERVINGS:

1 pound fatty white fish

capers

1/2 lemon sliced

the juice from the other 1/2 lemon

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

pink salt & fresh ground pepper

1/3 white wine

 

Fish is really easy to cook, you can basically just put in a pan and bake it…which was what I did, at 380 for 20 minutes (after seasoning it, covering it with lemon slices and capers and adding the wine, oil and butter to the pan).

And my side dish was just peeled and boiled potatoes with parsley and butter. Yeah, I cooked, alright?! 🙂

INGREDIENTE PENTRU 2 PORȚII:

1/2 kg pește alb mai gras

capere

1/2 lămâie

sucul de la cealaltă jumătate de lămâie

sare roz &piper proaspăt măcinat

o lingură ulei de măsline

o lingură de unt

1/3 cană de vin alb

Am pus peștele într-o tavă, l-am condimentat, am presărat caperele și feliile de lămâie pe el, l-am stropit bine cu vin și ulei… am dat drumul untului în tavă și l-am lăsat la cuptor vreo 20 de minute la joc mediu (200 C).

L-am servit cu cartofi natur.
