I only wish I wasn’t on a diet. 😀
a dozen shrimps
1/3 pound ground beef
1 cup bean sprouts
2 cups steamed sushi rice
2 tbs butter
1 tbs sesame oil
3 tbs soy sauce
3 tbs olive oil
1/2 cup oyster mushrooms
1/2 cup maitake mushrooms
pink salt & black pepper
2 garlic cloves chopped
Heat a large pan, add 1 tbs butter and the garlic cloves chopped.
Add the shrimps and the ground beef.
Add 2 tbs olive oil and mix well.
Salt everything and add 2 – 3 tbs water.
Let cook for 3 minutes.
Add the bean sprouts and the mushrooms cut in medium size pieces.
Add the sesame oil and mix well.
Add the half of the soy sauce and mix.
Spice everything with cayenne pepper and add the rest of the butter and olive oil.
Mix the rice with the rest of the ingredients and add half of the chopped scallions.
Sprinkle everything with the rest of the soy sauce and put the pan in the over at high temperature (400 F) for 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven, crack the egg over the rice and mix well.
P.S. I was told it was better than the food at asian restaurants, by a non-asian of course! 😀
